At Dentist at Healthlink, we assist parents in raising children to have excellent oral health and be free of any toothache or discomforts. We implement the latest available technologies and researched techniques in treating children to ensure your child’s experience will be positive and to eliminate early childhood tooth decay.
Our team create a fun and happy environment where children are individually introduced to our staff, are encouraged to ask questions at anytime and to familiarize themselves with our equipments and technologies. Our aim is to build trust with both child and parent and to eliminate negative association with visiting the dentist for each child.
Our friendly dentists take the time required to provide you with information to prevent tooth decay for your child. We also recommend that children should be brought in for their first check up appointment at 4 years of age. The first visit is mainly to introduce them to the dental environment, where they will get to go for a ride in the chair and explore some of our gadgets, this will build a positive first experience and to allow their confidence to grow.
Following the initial treatment, we encourage you to bring your child every 6 months for regular checkups. This will allow us to monitor the teeth eruption pattern and identify any dental problems early. Through regular attendance at the dentist, your child will be receiving both comprehensive dental treatments and be educated on how to look after their teeth at home. By achieving good oral hygiene habits in childhood, we hope that your child will carry such habits into to their adulthood. To ensure your children and family achieve healthy, bright smiles for life, book an appointment with our friendly dentists at Dentist at Healthlink on 07 4723 0624 today.
At the end of the game, it is always more fun to keep your teeth and smile confidently. When the game begins, without a mouth guard you are at risk of seriously damaging your teeth, your smile and confidence. Some injuries that commonly occur with high contact sport includes biting the tongue, broken jaw injuries, chipped or knocked out teeth or injury to the gums and lips.
Fitted mouth guards are worn and encouraged by professional athletes and sport teams internationally, they are also recommended by schools throughout Australia. Children who participate in sporting games on the weekend or at school are at risk of damaging their teeth. Mouth guards are crash helmets for teeth and gums, they are always worn with high contact sports such as Rugby, Hockey, Martial Arts and Boxing, as helmets are worn with Cycling, Motor Cycle, Hockey, Baseball etc.
Dentist at Healthlink wants you and your family to enjoy sports without any concerns of potentially damaging your pearly whites. Our trusted dentists provide high quality custom made mouth guards for both adults and children. The process involves taking moulds of your teeth from which the mouth guards will be made to fit. We also provide a wide range of colours and designs for you to choose from.
If you are currently or will be participating in sporting activities, book an appointment with our trusted Dentists at Dentist at Healthlink today. We will help you protect your precious smile so you can relax and enjoy the game with our high quality custom fitted mouth guards!
